This private residence located in Spruce Peak, Vermont, was designed to embody the essence of a true timber cabin. This was achieved by using materials that reflected its surroundings, the Vermont wilderness. Situated on the base of a ski run; the home was designed to utilize its western side as a ski-in, ski-out; giving the home a more integrated feel.
I joined the Zehren and Associates team working on this project fresh out of school and was able to witness a project go from concept all the way through construction. This process took me from editing hand drawings in Photoshop and creating the graphics above, to creating a fully working model in Revit as we progressed through the design phases.
This home is currently under construction and is stated to finish by next spring.
